Highlights from SaigonTex 2025
From April 9–12, ECI and Focus Vietnam joined SaigonTex 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City, where sustainability and innovation dominated the conversation.
This year, we brought something small but meaningful: eco-friendly tote bags made from leftover yarns from our factory. These upcycled bags weren't our main product, but they ended up stealing the show — really bringing to life our commitment to circular economy and resource efficiency. We couldn't believe how many visitors not only loved getting them but actually asked if they could buy them! Seeing people connected with something we made from materials that would've gone to waste felt incredible.
Our booth also featured a real eye-catcher: a crystal globe filled with ECI's elastic tapes. including the handmade globes filled with elastic tape flowers, carefully hung on our “tree of sustainability”. Each piece was prepped with care, from the materials we chose to the message we wanted to share. Because how we show up matters — and for us, it’s all about the details. We loved seeing people crowd around it, checking out the craftsmanship and getting curious about our materials and process. Moments like these remind us why we do this work.
Despite some early worries about the recent U.S. tariff talks, the mood quickly bounced back — showing just how resilient and optimistic our textile community really is. Walking the floor, we felt energized by all the focus on green materials, sustainable machinery, and collaborative innovation that really drove the whole event.
