Our medical grade narrow fabrics are engineered for products that live against the skin: compression bandages, monitoring straps, hosiery tapes and mask elastics. Every construction combines verified skin-contact safety with the batch-to-batch consistency that medical products depend on. From a 14 mm compression sock tape to a 152 mm trauma bandage, each item is woven, dyed and tested under one quality system, and every lot ships with the documentation your regulatory file needs.

ECI has manufactured narrow elastic fabrics since 1974, and medical products are one of the industries we engineer for. Production is vertically integrated across Taiwan, Vietnam and China, from yarn selection through weaving, dyeing, finishing and packaging, under same QMS.
Consistency is of great importance for medical elastics, so every production batch is tested in our on-site certified laboratory: tensile strength, elongation and recovery, colorfastness and wash durability, run against your protocol where you have one. Our elastic tapes are medical-grade components that are certified for skin-contact safety, lot-to-lot consistency and per-batch documentation that make your own compliance work possible.

There is no legal definition for textile components. In practice it means verified skin-contact safety (our range is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Class II certified), documented batch-to-batch consistency, durability under healthcare laundering, and full material transparency, supplied with the documentation a device maker's regulatory file requires.
The items on this page are woven from nylon or polyester with elastane and contain no natural rubber latex, which removes a common allergy risk for patients and healthcare workers.
An elastic component is not a finished medical device, so regulatory approval belongs to the device manufacturer. What we provide is what your compliance work needs: certified skin-contact safety, per-batch test reports and full fiber declarations.
Yes. Width, elongation, recovery, surface finish and color are all engineered to spec and tested in our on-site laboratory, against your own test protocol if you have one. Prototypes typically take 14 to 21 business days.
Yes. GRS-certified recycled polyester constructions, such as our 32036-6R recycled mask elastic strap, let you meet healthcare procurement sustainability requirements without requalifying performance
Send us your application, width and performance targets and we'll come back with a construction proposal, MOQ and prototype timeline.
